Watermelons are always in season

I finished stippling a quilt for a friend, and it was a walk down memory lane.  You see, we both started the same matching quilt years ago together.

Carol's Watermelons

This is one of my favorite quilts.  In fact, my son has a bazillion quilts, but the watermelons are loved the most– probably because I’ve washed it a zillion times and it’s so soft.  It is actually his second favorite quilt/blanket in the world.  The true favorite is a sad, sad little blanket that only Ethan loves.  But that’s another post, and it’s all going to change this Christmas.

My well-loved watermelons
