Authentic Goal Reflection

After setting goals, remember that you are supposed to reflect on them.  Well, as you can see, the Authentic quilt is done.  Kim’s is done, too.  Well, actually, our bindings are not finished yet– not the hand-stitching part because, well, because it’s 180 bajillion degrees in Texas, which is way too hot to have a quilt over you while you’re doing handwork on it.  So it will have to wait until I”m a little cooler.

If you look at the picture below, you will see that I’m venturing out in regards to quilting designs.  I really love making boxes and the modern look of it all.  As for the pattern of the quilt itself, that’s an original design by Kim and me.

What?  You want to know about the other things on the list?  Yeah, didn’t happen.  Except for the shopping.  We met every last one of our goals there.
