As I was cleaning my sewing room, I discovered one quilt top that was kind of finished. Actually, I made it about 10-15 years ago, and when I finished it, it just wasn’t big enough. It needed more… so I threw it in a box and aged it.
And I recently pulled it out, quilted it, and it’s headed to Blankets for Bastrop. Kind of manly, eh?
And then I discovered some blocks that I made and then discarded (many years ago!) because they were a little wonky. Luckily wonky is the new black. When I bought the fabric, I thought it was adorable. Salads and tomatoes!
So hopefully this one will bring a little cheer to someone who needs it, too:-)

Those are so great Danielle! I am working on a WIP I started a few years ago and hope to get it done and be able to donate it to Project Linus too. But who knows. Thanks for sharing!
sometimes ‘aging’ does wonderful things to quilts!
I’m sure they will be very much loved whoever gets them!
Aging works well with wine and cheese, so why not quilts? Great quilts for a great cause!
