Let’s discuss my day with Denyse Schmidt. She provided all the fabric (except for 1/4 of a yard that each person was supposed to bring) and had them in paper bags labeled small, medium, and large (size of the pieces).
We were given 30 minutes to create a block. We started out with small, and when we needed larger, we moved on… etc. I won’t give you all the details because you really need to learn from Denyse. After 30 minutes, here is what our group had to show.
No joke. In just an hour, we turned into Gee’s Bend (No disrespect to the women of Gee’s Bend or Denyse Schmidt). And here we are 3o minutes later.
Can you believe all that happened in an hour and a half?

I am having Danielle withdrawls!
Do you have a link to a picture of the lying geese or is it just a wing it type thing?
Um this is amazing. Like truly amazingly wonderful. I love it!
